Not only was he unaware that he had been marketed and enrolled in a 30 day free trail that he hadn't cancelled he was injured a few yrs back and hasn't been looking at his credit card statements (shame on me for only now catching this) he is setup to have direct full payments on his cards so it went unnoticed for 14 months ...now shoppers advantage has admitted to sending one and only one catalog... I have never used the card and I never received the credit for subscribing. I cancelled my advange card last year. These guys continued to charge my card a monthly fee even after cancelling it and they didn't even tell me that there was a second service that needs to be cancelled separately. Shoppers Advantage and Great Fun they do not even tell you that they are 2 separate companies they just promise you all these perks and then after you give them your credit card information they charge you till you figure out that you have to cancel both memberships. I responded to an offer to receive shampoo for thinning hair,. Theyc allied and said I would also be getting $100 credit for gas and whatnot from Shopper's Advantage. It never came in the mail. I have never heard of this company, only for them to charge my account. I called them, I was told it's probably a purchase I made online. I do not use my debit card for online transactions so this absolutely a total fraud. I was told they sent me a welcome package including $25 American Express card, which I did not receive. well after finding out that the discounts were not really for me because i dont shop where they are available i cancelled my membership i did not think i should have to pay seventeen dollars for it when i did not use it but anyway they kept trying to sell me a membership and then it took me 5 times to tell them i just wanted it cancelled so finally he said ok and i would not be charged next... This happened to me too. I disputed the charge with my bank. It's a phony company, and you refunded my money. Cancel your debit card and get a new one. Add comment
