I just got off of the phone with both Shopper's Advantage and Great Fun. After over 2 hours on the phone and being bounced back and forth, I was told that I was signed up for 2 memberships. I had cancelled the first one with Great Fun on 1/5 and was charged again by Shopper's Advantage for the same 16.99. It took me about 3 hours to straighten things out and a very long time on hold as I had to call 2 departments to figure out that I needed to actually cancel 2 memberships. However I was able to get directed quickly to a manager by contacting technical service dept. (eliminated on hold wait time). Shoppers advantage and Great Fun both are scams and are interlinked. I booked an air ticket on cheapoair.com and then i got a call from the shoppers advantage saying I will receive a 50$ check on my name if I enroll for the trail period offer that is 1$ for the first month and after that it is going to be 16.99$ per month but surprised to see that i was charged 2$ on first month. I talked to a manager named Mike and a customer service agent name Sue! What kind of a manager doesn't have the capability to refund customers money if they are unhappy? This company signs you up then ,in there to five days you get 100 dallors wrong?!then the people on phone ,sign you up for care express and other things that coast money! That you don't won't! I got caught like so many others when I got a credit card from a major airline, when you call these people get the name of the person you are talking to and a confirmation number of the cancellation Then call your credit card company back and give them that information as well as the date and the times that you cancelled.
